Focusara Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Muhammad Sulman Gull, trading as Techoship ("we", "us") for use of the Focusara app. By using Focusara you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

1. Focusara is not a medical device

This is the most important thing on this page.

Focusara lets you write down measurements — blood pressure, blood glucose, heart rate, body temperature, weight, sleep — and shows them back to you. It is a notebook, not an instrument. It does not measure anything, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a medical device.

Nothing in Focusara is medical advice. Do not use it to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, to decide whether to take a medicine, or to decide whether to seek care. If you feel unwell, or a reading worries you, speak to a doctor. If it is urgent, contact emergency services — do not consult an app.

Focusara will never tell you a reading is fine. It cannot know.

2. The AI coach

Focusara includes a coach that comments on the numbers you have recorded. It is a small language model running on your phone, and like all such models it can be confidently wrong — it can misread your data, invent a pattern, or give advice that does not apply to you.

Treat it as a prompt to think, never as a source of fact, and never as medical, psychological, nutritional or professional advice of any kind. It is subject to section 1 in full.

3. Your account, and the fact that there isn't one

Focusara has no accounts, no sign-in and no cloud. Everything you record is held on your own device, which has two consequences worth being clear about:

• Your data is genuinely yours. We cannot read it, share it, lose it or hand it to anybody.
• Nobody can recover it for you. If you delete the app, wipe your phone, or lose it, that history is gone. We have no copy. Export your data if it matters to you.

4. Age

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

5. What you may not do

• Use Focusara for anything unlawful.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except to the extent the law expressly allows it.
• Redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.

6. What it costs

Focusara is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising. If that ever changes, existing features you already rely on will not be taken away without notice.

The AI model downloads over your internet connection the first time you open the coach. On a metered connection that download uses your data allowance, and that cost is yours — the file is large, so use Wi-Fi if that matters.

7. Availability

Focusara runs on your device and keeps working without us. We do not promise it is free of errors, that it works on every device, or that we will keep publishing updates. We may change or discontinue features in future versions.

Because there is no service to switch off, a copy you have already installed keeps working whatever we do.

8. No warranty

Focusara is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In particular we do not warrant that any figure, chart, streak or AI response is accurate.

9. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any harm arising from a decision made on the basis of something the app displayed — including any health decision, which section 1 asks you not to make here in the first place.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to USD 50.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Focusara after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim there.
