Specialist builds

Hardware, IoT and NFC app development

Apps that control or read real-world devices — a drone that flies out to escort students, and NFC business cards that open a profile with one tap.

Starting from
$10,000
Hardware proof-of-concept from $2,500.
Typical timeline
Scoped per project

Software that talks to hardware fails in ways ordinary apps do not: radios drop, devices disconnect, firmware disagrees with the documentation. Our drone escort project dispatched a drone autonomously using the Autel SDK and needed four separate codebases, because it was four different problems.

At the other end of the scale, our NFC business card reads and writes tags directly on iOS and Android, so tapping a pin to a phone opens a profile straight away — and reports back when it is scanned.

What you get

  • Mobile apps that control or read devices
  • Drone and NFC integration
  • Device SDK integration and native modules
  • Backend for fleet, dispatch or telemetry
  • Dashboards for operators
  • Field testing on real hardware

How we work

  1. 1

    Free scoping call

We talk through what you are building, who it is for and what has to be true on day one. You leave with a recommended approach and a budget range.

  2. 2

    Prove the hardware link

The device connection is the riskiest part, so we prove it on real hardware first.

  3. 3

    Written plan and fixed quote

Screens, features and integrations written down in plain language, with a fixed price and timeline for the first release — so there are no surprises.

  4. 4

    Build the system

Apps, backend and operator tools around a link that is known to work.

  5. 5

    Field test and launch

Testing in real conditions, not just on a desk.

Frequently asked questions

Do you build the hardware?

No — we build the software that works with it: mobile apps, native SDK integrations, backends and operator dashboards. We work alongside your hardware team or supplier.

Can you work with our device's SDK?

Usually, yes. We review the SDK and documentation during scoping and prove the connection on real hardware before quoting the full build.

Do I own the code?

Yes. You own the source code, designs and accounts from day one — repositories, app store listings and cloud projects are set up in your name, not ours.
