App & product development

AI app development: products that use AI to do real work

Apps where AI is the product, not a gimmick — room redesign from a photo, speech turned into tasks, and a wellbeing coach running fully on-device.

Starting from
$7,500
New AI product. Adding one AI feature to an existing app from $3,000.
Typical timeline
4–10 weeks to a first release

We build AI into products where it does a job users would otherwise do by hand. Our AI interior redesign app takes a photo of a room and returns it redesigned with the walls, windows and ceiling still where they were. Our project management app turns a spoken sentence into a task with an owner, deadline and priority, in Arabic or English.

We also build AI that never leaves the phone. Focusara, our own app, runs Gemma 3 entirely on-device — no cloud, no API bill, works offline — and answers from the user's own data.

The hard part of AI products is rarely the model call. It is making results usable, keeping costs predictable, and protecting the system from abuse — the interior redesign app has five layers of abuse protection for exactly that reason.

What you get

  • AI features built into iOS, Android or web apps
  • OpenAI, Azure OpenAI and other model APIs
  • On-device models for private, offline AI
  • Speech-to-text and structured data extraction
  • Cost controls, rate limits and abuse protection
  • Prompt and output evaluation so results stay reliable

How we work

  1. 1

    Free scoping call

We talk through what you are building, who it is for and what has to be true on day one. You leave with a recommended approach and a budget range.

  2. 2

Prove it works on your data

A short prototype that shows the AI doing the job on real inputs, before committing to a full build.

  3. 3

    Written plan and fixed quote

Screens, features and integrations written down in plain language, with a fixed price and timeline for the first release — so there are no surprises.

  4. 4

    Build the product around it

The app, the guard rails and the fallbacks for when the model gets it wrong.

  5. 5

    Launch and monitor

Usage and cost dashboards, so you know what AI is costing per user.

Frequently asked questions

How much does AI cost to run?

It depends on the model and how often it is called. We estimate the cost per user before building, add caching and limits to keep it predictable, and use on-device models where they are good enough — which costs nothing per request.

Is our data used to train the AI?

Not with the providers and settings we use: API data from business accounts is not used for training. For the most sensitive cases, an on-device model keeps data on the user's phone entirely.

Can you add AI to our existing app?

Yes. Most AI work is adding one well-chosen feature to an existing product. We start with a prototype on your real data so you can see whether it is worth building.

Do I own the code?

Yes. You own the source code, designs and accounts from day one — repositories, app store listings and cloud projects are set up in your name, not ours.
