App & product development
Mobile app development, from first idea to both app stores
We design, build and launch iOS and Android apps for founders and businesses — native or Flutter, with the backend and admin tools to run them.
- Starting from
- $9,000
- App, backend and admin console. Fixed quote after a free scoping call.
- Typical timeline
- 6–12 weeks to a first release
Most of what we build is mobile: restaurant platforms, marketplaces, staffing apps, AI tools and our own apps on Google Play. Every project on this site was taken from an idea to a working product people use.
We pick the approach that fits the product, not the one we prefer. Flutter when one codebase for both platforms is the right trade-off; native Swift and Kotlin when the app leans on the camera, NFC, hardware SDKs or platform-specific polish.
An app is rarely just an app. Most need a backend, an admin console for the people running the business, payments and notifications — we build all of it, so there is one team accountable for the whole thing working.
What you get
- iOS and Android apps, native or Flutter
- Backend API and database
- Web admin console to run the business
- Payments, subscriptions and payouts (Stripe)
- Push notifications, email and in-app messaging
- App Store and Google Play submission
- Analytics and crash reporting
- Documentation and a clean handover
How we work
- 1
Free scoping call
We talk through what you are building, who it is for and what has to be true on day one. You leave with a recommended approach and a budget range.
- 2
Written plan and fixed quote
Screens, features and integrations written down in plain language, with a fixed price and timeline for the first release — so there are no surprises.
- 3
Design
Clickable designs for the key screens, agreed before development starts.
- 4
Build in weekly increments
A test build on your phone every week, so you see progress and can change course early.
- 5
Launch and handover
Store submission, production setup and a walkthrough of everything we built.
Work we have shipped

Restaurant Platform
Two apps in one, because a restaurant and its customers need different things.

Hospitality discovery · 2025
Local Discovery Platform
Two problems that are the same problem: nobody can find anywhere good tonight, and the bar three streets away is empty.

Grocery Delivery App
A grocery service for the food a supermarket doesn't carry — Asian, African and Middle-Eastern products, in French.

AI Interior Redesign
Photograph a room, choose a style, and get it back redesigned with your own walls, windows and ceiling still where they were.

Drone Escort for Student Safety
A student leaving the library at midnight presses one button, and a drone flies out to meet them.

Intercity Carpooling App
Cape Town to Pretoria is fourteen hours, and somebody is driving it on Saturday with three empty seats.

Roblox clothing is authored on a flat UV template — an unwrapped sheet of panels that looks nothing like a garment. You paint a rectangle and hope the collar lands right.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to build a mobile app?
It depends mostly on three things: how many distinct user types the app has (a customer app alone, or customers plus staff plus an admin), whether it needs payments or real-time features, and whether it needs to be native. After a free scoping call we give you a fixed quote for a first release.
Should we build native or with Flutter?
Flutter gives you one codebase for iOS and Android, which usually means a faster, cheaper first release. Native makes sense when the app depends heavily on device hardware or platform-specific features. We have shipped both and will recommend whichever fits.
Do I own the code?
Yes. You own the source code, designs and accounts from day one — repositories, app store listings and cloud projects are set up in your name, not ours.
What happens after launch?
We fix anything that was ours to get right at no charge, then offer ongoing support and development on a monthly basis if you want it. Nothing locks you in: the code is documented and yours to take elsewhere.
